Kimberley - Northern Cape government employees could have their salaries suspended if they do not visit various verification sites as part of the biometric headcount currently in progress.

Treasury spokesperson Mojalefa Mphapang says government employees in Kimberley have until Friday to
be verified as part of the headcount. He says those who fail to do so could end up not receiving salaries.

The programme kicked off in Kimberley on July 21st and from next week until August 15 will be rolled out in Upington, Kuruman and Springbok.
