Potch child porn case postponed again─── DANE BEISHEIM 11:47 Tue, 02 Sep 2014
Potchefstroom - The case against a North West man, charged with possession of child pornography, was again postponed in the Potchefstroom Regional Court today.
The State and Defense agreed an adjournment was necessary for further information to be provided.
The matter was previously postponed so a private company subcontracted by the SA Police Service could complete its investigation of video material seized from the suspect.
Hundreds of DVDs, computers and hard drives were confiscated.
The suspect is one of six arrested in four provinces in August last year after police followed up on a tip-off from Interpol.
The men, including two teachers and a retired school principal, were arrested in Lichtenburg, Bloemfontein, Pietermaritzburg, Douglasdale and Florida respectively.
