Mangaung Metro launches cleaning campaign─── LERATO LELIA 15:31 Fri, 19 Sep 2014
Bloemfontein - The Mangaung Metro launched a cleaning campaign at Lourierpark this morning. It's aimed at cleaning different areas of Mangaung every Friday.
The campaign, ‘Woza Friday’, will be led by the Deputy Executive Mayor, Connie Rampai, who says that one of the key challenges they have is the illegal dumping of building rubble.
Rampai added that the campaign will not disturb the usual municipality delivery of services such as refuse collection.

The campaign will focus on different departments combining resources and cleaning wards by removing rubbish heaps, cleaning open spaces and parks as well as fixing potholes and leakages in targeted areas.
The campaign will also be carried out and launched in Botshabelo and Thaba Nchu.
