Wolmaransstad - Eight suspects are expected to appear in the Wolmaransstad Magistrate’s Court today on charges of public violence.
This comes after disgruntled residents from the Thambo informal settlement at Wolmaransstad blocked the N12 leading into the town with stones on Friday.
North West police spokesperson, Pelonomi Makau, says the suspects also burned tyres.
Makau says the protesters allegedly complained about service delivery.
