Kimberley man charged with own dad’s murder─── 16:17 Thu, 30 Oct 2014
Kimberley - A man will appear in the Kimberley Magistrate's Court tomorrow for stabbing his own father to death.
Northern Cape police spokesperson, Donald Mdhluli, says the incident took place yesterday around 12:30 in Roodepan.
He says the two men were allegedly involved in an argument, and the 19-year-old hit his dad with a pick handle, before stabbing him. He could not say how many times the 46-year-old was stabbed.
The man was declared dead on the scene. The police also confiscated a pick and a knife.
