Postbank fraudster's case postponed─── THANDI XABA 06:34 Fri, 30 Jan 2015
Bloemfontein - The man who allegedly defrauded Postbank of more than R400 million appeared before the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Moketsi Mahoko was arrested in the city in June last year after being on the run since 2012.
In 2012 Mahoko allegedly offered an individual a one and a half million rand bribe in return for confidential information which would compromise the integrity of Postbank’s banking system.
He then hacked into the system causing losses of R420 million.
Three other men, Boy Thekiso, David Motsoane and Teboho Masoleng are already serving jail sentences for their involvement in the crime.
His case has been postponed to March 2nd for a regional court appearance date.
