Bloemfontein - The department of labour in the Free State is expected to release another damning report regarding the health crisis in the province.
The report is expected to contain information regarding primary health care in the province.
This follows inspections at various clinics in the Motheo region by the department. The lack of medication and medical personnel at clinics in the Free State have received wide media attention over the past few months.
This report follows the release of another report by the Public Service Commission in the Free State.
The commission found that Pelonomi Hospital in Bloemfontein will need at least R100 million to fund a backlog in maintenance and medical equipment, and acquire much needed medicine and medical staff.
Spokesperson of the department of labour in the Free State, Josial Ramokoena has confirmed that the report might be released today.
