Free State public works dept short on money to pay municipalities─── 11:53 Fri, 20 Mar 2015
Bloemfontein - The Free State Department of Public Works and Infrastructure is not going to have enough money to pay for municipal services.
This is according to MEC Sam Mashinini who delivered his budget speech for the 2015/2016 financial year in the provincial Legislature today.
This Department is responsible for paying rates, taxes and municipal services for all government buildings such as clinics and schools in the Free State.
