FS Health Dept pledges to not overspend amid shortfalls─── 05:49 Wed, 25 Mar 2015
Bloemfontein - Free State Health MEC Benny Malakoane has pledged that his department will not overspend in the 2015/2016 financial year.
This after the department started the current financial year with debt of more than R726 million.
Malakoane admitted during his budget speech in the Free State Legislature that his department will start the next financial year with a shortfall of R865m. He said the department would not be able to deliver in all areas as they appear in the Annual Performance Plan.
