Parys - Three men, including a father and his son, arrested for allegedly killing Parys businessman Craig Marx will appear in the local magistrate’s court again on May 8.
This follows after Magistrate Leshni Pillay postponed the matter today so that police could continue with their investigation.
Coen van Aswegen Sr, his son Coen Jr, and David Kuyler allegedly ambushed Marx on December 4. The elder Van Aswegen, who allegedly owed Marx R10 000, his two sons and their friends are suspected of having assaulted Marx before wrapping him in plastic. They then allegedly dumped him in a storm water pipe about 15km outside Parys while he was still alive, where Marx suffocated.
The remaining two suspects, both minors, remain in the custody of their guardians.
