Baby boy allegedly kidnapped at Pelonomi still missing─── CHRISTAL-LIZE MULLER 07:47 Thu, 02 Apr 2015
Bloemfontein - A newborn baby boy who was allegedly abducted from Pelonomi Hospital in Bloemfontein in January this year is still missing.
Police spokesperson, Mosili Ntsika, says the police investigation into the incident continues. Dimakatso Nyangintsimbi (19)’s three day old baby was allegedly taken from her by another woman while she was awaiting an ambulance to transport her home.
Nyangintsimbi, from Zastron, claims her baby was taken by a woman she had spoken to earlier in the day. She says she went to the toilet at the hospital when the women opened the door and took the baby.
According to Nyangintsimbi the woman threw a blanket over her head before snatching the child who was lying in front of her in the toilet.
Ntsika says police are following up leads.
