COGTA unrolls campaign to minimise land-grabbing─── THANDI XABA 08:33 Thu, 16 Apr 2015
Bloemfontein - The Free State Department of Cooperative Governance, Traditional Affairs and Human Settlements (COGTA) will soon unroll the Beneficiary Campaign that will seek to minimise land-grabbing occurrences.
This comes in the wake of the rising number of land grabbing cases that have sprung up across the province.
The MEC Olly Mlamleli says the campaign will see civilians, who have sites but are without houses, added onto their database for housing that will be later provided.
Mlamleli also met with the Caleb Motshabi community in Bloemfontein yesterday to present their planned future developments for the area, including basic services and especially houses.
