Bloemfontein - The Free State department of Police, Roads and Transport will launch a provincial campaign to educate communities about domestic violence.
MEC Butana Komphela says the number of incidents in the province is a concern.
During an interview with OFM News at the Youth Crime Prevention Summit in Bloemfontein, Komphela said police in the province have successfully dealt a huge blow to serious violent crimes like murder and are busy with raids to address the drug problem in the province, but there are challenges in the fight against domestic violence.
