FS residents offered life-changing opportunity─── 07:52 Fri, 31 Jul 2015
Bloemfontein - A potentially life-changing opportunity for Free State’s inventive minds has emerged.
The Central University of Technology (CUT), together with the International Labour Organization (ILO), launched the 2015 Free State enterPRIZE design challenge at the university on Thursday.
The project gives ordinary people in the province a chance to design new devices that will help better lives of the disabled.
ILO's deputy director in Southern and Eastern Africa, Joni Musabayana, says designs that win the challenge will be introduced in the market and manufactured across the country.
The challenge was officially opened on Thursday, and will be closed on August 27. Interested parties can register online at www.sedfafrica.co.za.
