Morokweng - An arson case has been opened by Morokweng police after two kids, aged 6 and 4, died in a shack fire in North West.
Police spokesperson Paul Ramaloko says the incident occurred on Tuesday at 22:00 at Tseng Village in Morokweng.
The young boy and girl were apparently sleeping when the fire broke out. Neighbours tried to extinguish it but with no success.
Ramaloko says the whereabouts of the parents of the children, as well as the cause of the fire, are still unknown.
No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
