'Spy tapes saga could be in for lengthy legal battle'─── 11:22 Mon, 15 Sep 2014
Pretoria - A political analyst says the spy tapes saga could be in for a lengthy legal battle.
Protas Madlala's comments come after former intelligence minister, Ronnie Kastrils defended his involvement in the decision not to charge President Jacob Zuma ahead of the 2007 ANC conference in Polokwane.
Kasrils reportedly said at the time he would not be drawn into commenting on whether Zuma should be charged with corruption.
Madlala feels the issue is likely to be drawn out in the courts.
The DA was given the so-called spy tapes earlier this month.
