Twenty-seven children injured in minibus taxi accident─── 11:03 Wed, 04 Mar 2015
Durban - Twenty-seven school children, among them 24 of them primary school children, were injured when a minibus taxi left the road and overturned at the Black Burn Estate in the Mt Edgecombe area north of Durban this morning.
All of the children were injured, with at least three sustaining serious injuries.
Paramedics from KZN Emergency Medical Services and a local private ambulance service assessed and treated the children on scene before transporting the patients through to Phoenix clinic and local hospital for further care.
The cause of the crash at this stage is not known and is being investigated by the police.
