Community healthcare workers march to Bophelo House─── OWEN KOCK 12:06 Wed, 26 Nov 2014
Bloemfontein - Some 100 Free State community healthcare workers are gathered at Bophelo House in Bloemfontein, to hand over a memorandum with their demands to Health MEC Benny Malakoane.
According to the Treatment Action Campaign’s chairperson in the province, Sello Mokhalipi, they feel the demands contained in the memorandum are not unreasonable.
Mokhalipi says the TAC is also calling for community healthcare workers in the province to be appointed permanently.
