Former eight division world boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao has undergone surgery to repair a significant tear to his shoulder rotator cuff, days after losing to Floyd Mayweather junior in the Fight of the Century.
Renowned surgeon doctor Neal ElAttrache performed the arthroscopic procedure in 90 minutes, and said that he couldn't have be more pleased with the result.
He is of the view that successful surgery would see Pacquiao make a full recovery and be back in the ring to resume his boxing career.
The injury which Pacquiao didn’t disclose going into the fight has landed him hot water with the Nevada Athletic Commission who are looking to either fine or suspended the fighter and on top of that their may be lawsuits.
At least five lawsuits in various states have been filed against Pacquiao, promoter Top Rank and other parties involved, claiming they defrauded the public in failing to disclose his injury.
