Bloemfontein, 22 August 2012 - As Women’s month draws to a close OFM re-iterates its commitment to highlighting issues of women as pillars in our society.

This morning the Breakfast Club on OFM spent time connecting and taking care of the often forgotten women in the Military Service.
The women were treated to a lovely breakfast, a tour of the OFM studios, a meet and greet with some of our On-Air personalities as well as had the chance to experience firsthand how the Breakfast Club on OFM is put together to become the number one rated breakfast show in Central South Africa.

According to Tim Thabethe of the Breakfast Club on OFM “listeners are the backbone of the show and our reason for being. As such we make use of every opportunity to spend time with the various segments”.

“Because we are a socially responsible show we wanted to give back and take care of these phenomenal women who dedicate their everyday lives to the good of our South African Nation”, he concluded.

Women and Children are at the heart of everything that we do at OFM and more than often one sees that our engagements tend to gravitate towards this particular group. With this small token, OFM wishes all women in Central South Africa a fruitful Women’s month and urges them to continue driving their issues beyond this month of August.
