Zimbabwean-born former Wallabies captain, David Pocock has been named in the Brumbies side to face the Toyota Cheetahs this weekend in the Super Rugby.

Pocock makes his first start for the side since the first round of the competition when he sustained an ankle injury.
 
During their defeat to the Waratahs, Pocock played for the last 30 minutes in his return match.
 
The inclusion of the stocky flank will make for an interesting tussle between himself and the Cheetahs Heinrich Brüssow, who are arguably the worlds’ two best fetchers.
 
Brumbies forwards coach Dan McKellar confirmed Ita Vaea will be replaced by Pocock in the starting line-up, while Vaea with drop to the bench.
 
Following the match against the Tahs, Pocock said he was looking forward to getting back out on the park again.
 
Wallabies centre Tevita Kuridrani has been ruled out for up to two months with a shoulder injury, while lock, Rory Arnold remains in some doubt with a lower back injury he picked up in the loss to the Waratahs. 
 
The last time these two sides met in Canberra was during the 2013 play-off when the Cheetahs lots 15-13. Last year in Bloemfontein the Cheetahs won 27-21.
 
The Brumbies going to the match coming off a bye, while the Cheetahs have loss their last four matches int he competition after a good start.
 
The Brumbies full match-23 is yet to be named. 
 
Saturday’s match at the GIO Stadium in Canberra kicks off at 10:40.
