N1 partially opened following diesel truck fire─── 11:41 Thu, 10 Mar 2022

Two lanes of the N1 have been partially opened for traffic, pending the removal of a burnt truck on the far southbound lane.
Police spokesperson, Malebo Khosana, has told OFM News the exact cause of the accident cannot be established at present.
Khosana further added there was no third party involved, and no serious injuries reported.
The truck’s two trailers with diesel caught fire earlier, about 5km near the Koppies off-ramp at Kroonstad.
The road had to be closed temporarily while the fire brigade doused the flames.
