Mangaung dancers have been called to come out in numbers as the City of Roses hosts one of the biggest dance competitions in the world.
The Red Bull account manager at Total Exposure, Katlego Maifadi, tells OFM News that the Red Bull Dance Your Style competition is back in the country, and they will be searching for the best street dancers.
Maifadi says that Mzansi's top street dancers will be hosting workshops in the build-up to the main qualifier event, with the likes of TikTok sensation 250 machine, actress Bontle Modiselle, Gqeberha's finest dancer, Junior King, and the Red Bull Dance Your Style Johannesburg 2021 Qualifier winner, Adonis.
According to Maifadi, the event is currently taking place at Hoffman Square in Bloemfontein and the registration process commenced at 11:00, while the workshops will start at 12:00 until 13:00, followed by the Dance Your Style competition from 13:00 until 15:30.
She says the auditions will determine the top 16 street dancers in South Africa, who will compete in the national final in Pretoria in October.
The winner of the competition will represent the country at the Red Bull Dance Your Style world final in December.
