Brits police have launched a search for three unknown males who kidnapped two cousins on Wednesday morning (6/3) in front of a primary school.
Zahraa Mohammed (17) and Bataviya Mohammed (19) were driving to school from Bataviya’s home in Brits to the school at Hartbeespoortdam, when they were kidnapped.

“The car they were driving in was bumped in the front by a maroon Audi A3, forcing it to stop. Two armed men allegedly ordered them out of their car into a white VW Polo that was driving behind the Audi,” said North West police spokesperson, Amanda Funani.
“Police request anyone with information that can assist in the investigations to contact the station commander of Brits.”

The suspects entered the VW Polo GTI and drove off, taking the victims with them.
The white Mercedes Benz driven by the cousins and the maroon Audi A3 driven by the suspects were found at the scene.
