The USA’s Dustin Johnson has been tipped as the favourite to win this year's fourth and final major, the PGA Championship, which tees off Thursday at the Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey.

Johnson won his first major earlier this year when he claimed the US Open at Oakmont.

The player is currently ranked number two in the world and pundits believe he will once again walk away with the honours, come Sunday afternoon.

Johnson feels his mindset hasn’t changed too much since winning at Oakmont, but he is hungry for his second title.

“It doesn’t change, I want to win – I want to win every major,” said Johnson.

“Maybe there is an even bigger desire to win a second major.

“Like I’ve said before, I wasn’t playing the British Open trying to win my first major, I’ve won one, so I might have been a little bit different.

“I felt good, my golf game feels good right now so I feel good every time I step on the tee.

“The mindset might have been a bit different, but not much.

“Not much changes with me.”

The former world number one, Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland, is also tipped as a possible winner after winning the tournament in 2012 and 2014.

The South Africans competing this week are George Coetzee, Ernie Els, Branden Grace, Louis Oosthuizen, Charl Schwartzel and Brandon Stone.
