Brits - The body of a woman found at Magalieskraal near Brits has been identified as that of Esbie Koster.
North West police spokesperson, Mpeile Talane, confirmed to OFM News that 55-year-old Koster’s family has been notified of her death, following the discovery of her body next to a road at 14:00 yesterday afternoon.
Koster was a teacher at the Rabboni Christian School.
Talane adds that Koster was found with a single gunshot wound to the head. No one has been arrested thus far, and the number of assailants is still unknown. Koster’s cell phone is also missing.
Talane confirmed that police are investigating a case of murder and suspected hijacking.
He asks that anyone with information make contact with the police.
“We are appealing to community members to approach the Brits Police Station or contact the following number, 012-381-6034, to give information on that particular case. We believe that with the help of the community on the ground the suspects will be arrested," Talane added.
