A total of 300 Motheo College staff members share one off-campus toilet─── EARL COETZEE 15:42 Thu, 26 Jan 2017

Bloemfontein - A total of 300 members of staff at Motheo TVET College in Bloemfontein have been forced to share a single toilet due to a lack of water and electricity at the institution's Bloemfontein campus.
OFM News has been informed by a reliable source that the college's Bloemfontein campus has gone several days without electricity, and to make matters worse, the staff have to walk from the academic campus to the management offices two streets away, since the only functioning toilet is located at this building.
The problem is apparently the result of a water leak which has flooded the college's underground ceramics classroom, which also houses the electricity distribution board.
Attempts to pump the water out of the classroom have failed, and contractors have apparently refused to start repairs unless they are paid upfront. Students are currently unaffected, due to the national TVET and FET strike.
According to the source, staff have been warned against speaking to the media.
Motheo TVET couldn't be reached for comment, despite several attempts.
