Kenhardt - A farmer was killed on his farm, Bastersput, in the Kenhardt area of the Northern Cape on Friday.
Police spokesperson, Hendrik Swart, said the body of 62-year-old Loy Farmer was found at his home at about 6am.
His head and neck were covered in blood as a result of a wound to the back of his head.
Swart said it is not clear at this stage how the wound was inflicted.
No arrests have yet been made.
