Kimberley - Residents are kindly informed of a temporary electricity interruption for the Landbou Street area on Thursday 4 February 2016, from 08h00 to 12h00.
This is to enable our electricity department to conduct repairs on a broken overhead line that was knocked over in a motor vehicle accident.
This interruption will affect businesses in the Landbou area, like Komatsu, from Kalahari Lodge to the Stone crushers, including the Caltex Service Station.
Please Note: The Southridge Substation will not be affected and therefore the suburb won’t be affected. The municipality would like to apologise for the inconvenience to all the residents, businesses and all those that will be affected.
We would like to warn residents to treat the electricity appliances as “live” at all times because electrical supply can be switched back at any time.
