Bloemfontein - The innovative, open-mindedness of young farmers has left top management at the Transvaal Agriculture Union of SA (TAU SA) very excited.
TAU SA General Manager Bennie van Zyl says they are currently travelling to farms across the country to evaluate entrants into the union’s annual Young Farmer competition.
He says young farmers are hands-on, innovative and they are not scared of technology:

Van Zyl says they expect to announce the top three finalists later this month, with the winner to be announced during the union’s annual congress in Pretoria on September 1.
