Conference to tackle the 'everyday' problems of farmers─── SABRINA DEAN 14:00 Fri, 25 Sep 2015
Bloemfontein - The second annual Landbou Weekblad Conference happening in Bloemfontein on October 5 and 6 will be taking a closer look at the problems faced by farmers and provide innovative solutions to everyday challenges.
Landbou Weekblad editor Chris Burgess says the main theme this year deals with energy:

The keynote address will be delivered by Demetri Papadopolous of Fusion Energy, who will speak in detail about alternative energy options for the agriculture sector. Agriculture Minister Senzeni Zokwana is also expected to address the conference.
Other speakers will look at topics ranging from a talk about soya being the crop of the future by Wessel van Wyk, to a presentation by Louis van der Watt on how to approach an investment in the game industry.
