Celtic cautiously confident ahead of SuperSport United─── 16:30 Wed, 11 Mar 2015
Bloemfontein Celtic are cautiously confident ahead of their big Premier Soccer League match against SuperSport United at the Free State Stadium.
Phunya Sele Sele are currently experiencing a rich run of form since the league resumed last month and the side haven’t tasted defeat since their 2-1 loss to Orlando Pirates on 20 December.
The pressure will be on the visitors somewhat after their two home losses in the form of a 5-2 drubbing by AmaZulu and 2-1 defeat to Ajax Cape Town.
SuperSport United defender and co-captain, Thabo September earlier told OFM Sport that facing Celtic away is always a tough ask.
“It’s never easy when you travel to Bloem, plus Celtic are in a good run and we’ve had our two loses this year.
“We’re looking forward to the challenge, that’s why we play the game.
“We’re look forward to how and when we are going to bounce back.
“We hope that the game against Celtic will be the game in which we bounce back with our backs against the wall," the stalwart of Matsatsantsa a Pitori football said.
Other big matches this evening sees Moroka Swallows at home to Free State Stars, AmaTuks take on Platinum Stars, Mamelodi Sundowns host Polokwane City and Kaizer Chiefs are away to Maritzburg United.
