South African national football coach, Shakes Mashaba has named his first 23-man squad since Bafana Bafana got bundled out of the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.
Bra Mashaba’s team will be playing in two matches later this month when they take on Swaziland in Mbabane and the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.
The sides sees the long awaited return of former captain and goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune after a long lay-off due to injury.
Defender Thapelo Morena of Bloemfontein Celtic has received a well-deserved call-up to the squad, while Free State Stars defender Daniel Cardoa finds himself named in the squad as well.
Netherlands based Kamohelo Mokotjo has also been recalled after being dropped for the AFCON.
South Africa face Swaziland Wednesday 25 March, and then take on the Super Eagles four-days later on 29 March.
