Manchester United has cemented their third spot in the English Premiership standing and claimed bragging right by beating city rivals, Manchester City 4-2 in the Manchester derby.

Sergio Aguero put City in front early on at Old Trafford but goals from Ashley Young, Marouane Fellaini, Juan Mata and Chris Smalling put United out of sight before Aguero completed his braced in the 89th minute.
 
United Chris Smalling said the team showed their character by come from behind to win the derby.
 
In some of the other results this weekend, Chelsea tightened their grip on the title with a 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers.
 
Southampton beat Hull 2-0, Crystal Palace thumped Sunderland 4-1, Aston Villa stun Tottenham 1-0 and the Arsenal edged Burnley 1-0.
