Excitement in mounting in the footballing world ahead of tonight’s announcement of the coveted Ballon d’Or.
If the pundits are anything to go by, Real Madrid striker, Christiano Ronaldo of Portugal appears to be the hot favourite to bag the World Footballer of the Year title for a second successive year.
While, four-time winner Lionel Messi of Barcelona is also in the mix, it seems unlikely he will be adding a fifth title to his name.
