According to the Provincial Legislature’s Communication Deputy Manager, Namhla Luhabe, a certified chartered accountant, Manenzhe Manenzhe, has been appointed as the CFO, while Tuelo Mbedzi, who holds a PhD in Population Studies, is the new Executive Manager: Proceedings.

Luhabe says Manenzhe previously held several positions, both in the public and private sector, while Mbedzi worked as a manager of committees in the legislature for ten years, which includes five years as the Executive Manager: Policy, Research, and Committees. Luhabe says Manenzhe stated one of his first key priorities is to improve the financial sustainability of the legislature and forge ahead with good governance. Whilst Mbedzi stated that one of her key priorities would be to provide professional and ethical support to members of the North West Provincial Legislature, executive management and staff, as well as fulfill the constitutional mandate of the institution.

Meanwhile, the Secretary to the Legislature, Lutendo Netshitumbu, has welcomed the appointment of the two executives, stating that he is looking forward to work with them and the great wealth of experience they are bringing to the institution.
