This municipal election season, OFM is throwing its support behind a candidate we can all count on: Rick Astley.
Think about it. For more than 35 years, he’s never gonna give you up. Never gonna let you down. Never gonna run around and desert you.
That’s a pretty solid campaign promise.
Of course, Rick Astley isn’t actually running for office – and OFM isn’t telling you who to vote for. We are asking you to do one important thing: show up.
Because elections aren’t only about the names on the ballot. They’re about having your say in the community you call home.
So, when South Africa heads to the polls for the next municipal elections on 4 November 2026, make sure your voice is part of the conversation.
Do your homework. Make your choice. Cast your vote.
Whoever gets your vote, let your thumb tell the story: you showed up.
And Rick? Well… he’s never gonna give you up.
