Pirates looking to retain perfect PSL start─── MORGAN PIEK 16:24 Tue, 20 Sep 2016
Round three of the Premier Soccer League kicks off this evening with three matches being played.
Orlando Pirates will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the standing with a third successive win when they face Cape Town City F.C. in Soweto, while the side from the Mother City will be looking to return to winning ways after losing to Golden Arrows last week.
It will also be the City Boyz’ coach, Eric Tinkler’s first visit to the Orlando Stadium after being sacked as the Buccaneers mentor at the end of last season.
In Cape Town, the Urban Warriors, Ajax and the bottom of the log Polokwane City will be looking for their first win of the season when they face each other at the Cape Town Stadium.
Wits will be looking to maintain their pressure or Pirates, and possibly even go to the top of the standings when they face the newly promoted Baroka FC at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.
All tonight’s matches kick off at 19:30.
