Police in the Free State is investigating a case of murder after the lifeless body of a woman was discovered on a farm next to the K10 Section in Odendaalsrus.
According to police spokesperson, Stephen Thakeng, the woman has not been identified yet and no one has come forward with any tips.

Furthermore, Thakeng says on arrival, police were directed to a spot where the body of an unknown female was found. He says the deceased had a wedding ring on her finger, and her clothes were scattered on the scene, with police suspecting that she was raped too.
Thakeng has appealed to members of the community, or anyone missing a relative, to visit the Odendaalsrus Police Station, as no one has been reported missing in that area.
He further called on residents who might have the information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact Detective Keke Moeketsi on 082 301 2797 or visit the nearest police station.
