A 32-year-old suspect is expected to appear in court today.
Members of Welkom K9 Unit received information about an alleged drug dealer in Bronville.
The information was operationalised on Tuesday (14/11), and a house was searched in Golding Street Bronville, where 601 Mandrax tablets and cash were seized.
A 32-year-old suspect was arrested for dealing in drugs and he will appear in the Welkom Magistrates Court today (16/11).
The Acting District Commissioner of Lejweleputswa, Brigadier Envor Solomon praised residents of Bronville for trusting SAPS members with this information, which led to the arrest and seizure.
Welkom K9 Unit members were applauded for their swift reaction.
