"With the blessings that God gave him, he can share with needy people to make them feel better in their lives."
Malefetsane Mbele works as a Chief of Staff in the office of the executive mayor of Thabo Mofutsanyana District Municipality.
The forty-six-year-old father of two believes that helping one family makes a huge difference.
In an exclusive interview with OFM News, the Bethlehem-born said: "I know the meaning of struggle and going to bed with an empty stomach. The experience that I have had, taught me to take good care of other people who have nothing to eat."

Mbele helps female learners with sanitary towels to ensure they attend school with confidence. This also gives them the strength to excel academically.
He also helps elders and people living with disabilities with the construction of flushing toilets. He would identify the families and help build shacks (those who don't have houses) and connect infrastructure to help them use the flushing toilets regardless of whether sewage connections are present or not.
He says doing so gives much-needed respect to the community, particularly women.

He also helps the parents by coordinating them with organisations (non-profit) that fight against alcohol and drug abuse. This is because most families, nowadays experience children who are falling deeper into the usage of drugs and alcohol.
