Bethlehem roads reopened after bomb threat─── SAZLY HARTZENBERG 19:00 Wed, 13 Feb 2019
Muller Street in Bethlehem’s Central Business District has been reopened for traffic following an earlier scare where it was believed that a car dealership in the town had an explosive device planted there.
According to the police spokesperson in the Free State, Zweli Mohobeleli, all relevant police units were dispatched to the scene and after intense searching on the premises, nothing was found.
Mohobeleli said that the Bethlehem police will immediately start investigating the source of this threat and further stated that authorities consider the matter a serious one as it is believed this information was provided to deliberately mislead the police, which is a criminal offence.
Members of the public who has more information are urged to come forward and contact the local police in Bethlehem.
