Three men are still at large following an armed robbery that took place at a fuel station located next to Sun Windmill Casino in Bloemfontein, on Friday.
Police spokesperson, Thabo Covane, says the three armed men drove to the fuel station in a Grey Toyota Tazz and walked into the store just before 03:00 that morning.
It is reported that two of the station employees were sitting behind the pay point at the time. Covane says the suspects ordered the clerks into the pie room, which they then locked.
The suspects proceeded to rob the station and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, fifty cigarette packets and one of the fuel station employees’ cell phones.
Covane says no-one was harmed during the business robbery and the investigation into the matter continues.
