It is believed that the gardener heard the baby crying when he went to dump dirt in the veld. He contacted the police and the ambulance. The baby was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.  Any person with information that can assist the police in locating the mother can contact the investigating officer, D/W/O Shanele Antonie, at 082-302-0468.
