SA Weather warns of severe thunderstorms, possibly hail, in FS and EC─── 16:34 Mon, 08 Apr 2019

Thunderstorms continue to feature in the daily weather despite the slow change of season.
On Monday afternoon, thunderstorms are active in the Free State and Eastern Cape, possibly producing hail, heavy downpours and strong surface winds.
Slow moving thunderstorms in the Eastern Cape will likely produce heavy downpours, large hail and lightning.
The South African Weather Service has issued a watch for severe thunderstorms in the Free State, and the northern parts of the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal for Monday. This could lead to potentially large hail, strong, damaging winds and heavy downpours leading to localised flooding.
