The chairperson of the Road Incident Management System in the Kenneth Kaunda District, Vusi Mohlakore, says the unrest was reported at Shaft 10, at the Tau Lekoa Gold mine located on the Leeudoringstad Road. Mohlakore says the road has been closed and the R30 is also being affected. He says the road is open, but motorists must proceed with caution or make use of alternative roads. It is unknown what the reason behind the unrest is.

This is a developing story.
