Kimberley police seek assistance to find missing man─── PULANE CHOANE 10:37 Tue, 16 Apr 2019

The police in Kimberley are urging any members of the public who may have information about the disappearance of 42-year-old Rrabatho Lekhu to come forward.
This comes as Lekhu was last seen in the Diamond City’s Central Business District on Thursday around 10:00 after a friend allegedly dropped him off at a car dealership in Du Toitspan Road. An elder brother, Poka Thabo Lekhu, then reported him missing two days later after the family had not heard anything from him since Thursday.
Speaking to OFM News, Poka said it seems at this stage that Rrabatho’s phone has been off since Thursday when he was dropped off at the said dealership, as Poka said he tried to call his brother on the day he went missing at around 11:21 and already by then, his phone was off. Meanwhile, police spokesperson in the province, Tessa Jansen, said that at the time of his disappearance, Rrabatho was wearing shorts, a T-shirt as well as Adidas flip flops.
Police have opened a Missing Person’s enquiry and are searching for him. Members of the public with any information are requested to contact the Investigating Officer D/W/O Markgraaff at 082-302-0407 or the communication officer at 084-985-4883.
