eNCA town hall debate in FS ahead of #Elections2019─── PULANE CHOANE 05:47 Wed, 17 Apr 2019
News channel eNCA was in Bloemfontein Tuesday night, as various political leaders in the Free State battled it out on live television - with the hopes of winning the votes of South Africans ahead of the general elections on 8 May.
OFM News' Pulane Choane reports the atmosphere was electric, with members of various parties cheering on their party candidates.
The political parties present at the Kagisanong Community Hall in Bloemfontein, where the news channel held this debate are the ANC, DA, EFF, FF Plus as well as COPE, where the manifestos of these parties will came under scrutiny - as they were grilled by the news channel's anchors Samkelo Maseko and Michelle Craig.
Members of the public were also given an opportunity to ask members from these political parties questions on their intentions, should they come into power, as well as provide solutions to challenges and problems relating to issues such as service delivery.
This robust discussion was the fourth following a series of debates held in other provinces over the last month by the news giant, and was aired live on their DSTV channel.
