NC ANC Chair engage the youth ahead of May 8─── KATLEHO MORAPELA 10:34 Sat, 20 Apr 2019
Issues regarding lack of business funding, lack of skills training, and high youth unemployment are among some of the key issues set to come to the forefront when the ANC top bunch in the Northern Cape engages young people this upcoming Wednesday.
The ANC Chairperson in the province, Zamani Saul, is expected to be in conversation with the youth in Gamagara Municipality and Sol Plaatje Municipality this coming week.
His visit forms part of the ANC’s elections company trail to encourage the youth to cast their vote during the general elections.
With just 18 days to the May 8 elections, the ANC is sending out its heavy weight to the different regions to strengthen their support base.
The month of April alone has seen this province being visited by President Cyril Ramaphosa who engaged the community of Upington before heading to the Free State towns of QwaQwa, Bloemfontein and Welkom, as well as ANC National Chairperson, Gwede Mantashe, who embarked on a campaign trail to the mining town of Kathu where he also engaged community members over service delivery issues, unemployment and how the party plans to redress these issues.
