The BLF’s attack on the DA comes after the party along with the Council for the Advancement of the South African Constitution (Casac) successfully challenged Mkhwebane’s Free State Vrede Dairy Farm project findings.

On Monday the North Gauteng High Court ruling against her report on the Vrede Dairy Project saying it was unconstitutional, invalid and was set aside.

The BLF says the DA was a long time ago was defeated in November 2018 when the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) withdrew its case against the Gupta family in relation to the farm project. The party says the DA is now running to the courts to continue a witch hunt against Mkhwebane.

Meanwhile, Mkhwebane is considering launching a challenge in the High Court or Constitutional Court. Mkhwebane was found to have failed in her duties. She says this could be seen as a condemnation of maladministration.The DA and Casac argued that Mkhwebane didn't interview senior politicians implicated in the agriculture project.
